Cheddar Cheese Biscuits
Ingredients:-
I kg flour
1 / 2 tsp salt
1/2 cup soft butter
Sprinkled
with red pepper or cumin
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
To cover
Sesame or a grain of black seeds
(Suaida)
1 Egg white
1 tbls water
Direction
- Mix flour, butter, salt and pepper on medium speed,
then add the cheese and knead the dough until
it holds together, kneed even, go into the
refrigerator for two hours or all night, or quarter of an
hour in the freezer
- Heat oven to 350 and
then flatten out the dough, shape it and then move
it to the oven tray
- Mix the amounts of sprinkles, brush the
surface of each biscuit with the egg whites and then sprinkle with
the garnish. Bake the biscuits in a moderate oven until
the surface and edges lightly browned.
